Bianca Monreal

My name is Bianca A. Monreal, I am licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Long Beach, California working with clients statewide via Telehealth. I work with adults, and adolescents. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, codependency and LGBTQ+ using Psychodynamic, EMDR, Affirmative and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My goal is to help my clients make progress and start feeling better.

My approach is empowering, non judgmental and evidence-based. My work with clients draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, EMDR, Affirming, Harm Reduction, and Multicultural frameworks. I want to help my clients feel safe and begin their journey of healing.

I work with individuals of all ages as well as families that have endured significant loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, culture issues, addiction, relationship conflict and codependency.

In my first session clients will feel welcomed, important, comfortable and safe. I am a compassionate, transparent therapist that will build an alliance and help them navigate through difficult feelings and emotions.

My tone is direct while being compassionate, nurturing and empowering. We got this! Clients in my session feel connected, cared for, heard, and validated. I want clients to have a positive experience in their healing and begin sharing their story in an affirming setting.
