Great to meet you!
Some experiences are so familiar that we stop questioning them. We carry them, adapt to them, and keep moving—until one day we're exhausted from carrying them alone.
If you're here, you may be looking for a therapist who understands that healing isn't just about coping—it's about finding the words for experiences that have lived in your body long before they ever became a conversation.
I intentionally spend time studying the ever-evolving Black experience because I believe culture, history, family, and community shape how we understand ourselves and how we heal. My goal is to help you put language to emotions and experiences that can feel difficult to describe, while creating a space where you can slow down, reflect, and gently acknowledge the parts of your story you've tried to bury. Not because you're weak—but because you've carried enough.
I was raised on the West Side of Chicago (Austin Tiger checking in!), an experience that continues to shape how I connect with people and understand resilience, community, and identity. I earned my master's degree from Erikson Institute, a graduate school recognized for its leadership in child development and human development across the lifespan. Today, I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, helping clients bridge the gap between who they were, who they are, and who they want to become.
Therapy isn't about becoming someone new—it's about making room for every part of your story with compassion and curiosity. If you're ready to begin that work, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
