Bianca Volpetti

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, as well as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, with multiple years of clinical experience in variety of environments. I graduated with my Master's of Social Work from Monmouth University in 2018, with a concentration in Clinical Practice with Families and Children. My experience in the field stretches from all walks of life, such as private treatment facilities, to substance abuse therapy with incarcerated individuals.

I provide a psycho-dynamic approach with my clients, in addition to providing psycho-education regarding mental health and substance use disorders. I provide emphasis on the importance of addressing specific biopsychosocial issues such as cultural influence, gender issues, and sexuality. I am foundationally trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which allows me to provide interventions such as distress tolerance, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness practices.

I provide a comforting and safe environment to allow my clients to ease into the process of therapy, by utilizing a humanistic approach. I maintain emphasis on strengthening the therapeutic alliance with my clients, which allows room for energetic and personable sessions. My unique means of therapeutic interventions will assure you that the process of therapy is not only rewarding, but also rejuvenating for the mind, body, and spirit.
