Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals across all age groups and from diverse social, economic, cultural, and religious backgrounds. My education and experience have equipped me with a strong awareness of cultural traditions and norms, and the ability to recognize the significant role they play in shaping an individual’s values and lived experiences. I approach each session with an understanding that every person's experience is unique and deserves to be respected without judgment or preconceived notions.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach encapsulates humanistic and holistic principles. I prioritize creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can freely explore their inner thoughts. This encourages openness and vulnerability, which in turn lays the foundation for impactful exploration and personal growth. Recognizing that each individual views the world through their personalized lens allows me the opportunity to explore the uniqueness of each client's perspective. This will enable me to tailor my approach to meet the specific needs of each client as well as assist in aligning thoughts, feelings, and actions with the clients' authentic selves and help them live in accordance with their values and potential.

What you can expect from me

Sessions are a collaborative partnership where we celebrate successes, work through challenges, and thoughtfully explore concerns. You are encouraged to express yourself openly and honestly, without fear of judgment or criticism. Together, we uncover and address underlying contributors to symptoms, such as past trauma or negative thought patterns, while also developing practical coping strategies to support mood regulation, increase motivation, and build resilience. I also provide tools for managing daily responsibilities, setting healthy boundaries, and integrating self-care practices into your routine.
