Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated therapist who believes that therapy is ultimately the patient’s journey—not the therapists. Each individual is the true guide on their unique path toward healing, and my role is to offer compassionate support and tailored suggestions that can help illuminate the way.

I have experience working with a wide range of individuals, including parents navigating the challenges of raising children and First Responders managing the intense stressors of their demanding careers. My goal is to empower my patients to build resilience and find clarity as they move forward.

Together, we embark on a healing journey—one that leads to what I like to call the Island of Healing—a place of peace, growth, and recovery. I am honored to walk alongside you as you discover your strengths and chart your course toward lasting well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in collaboration and partnership. I believe that healing is a team effort where the therapist and patient work closely together. While the patient is the guide of their own journey, I see myself as their biggest supporter—offering empathy, honesty, and encouragement every step of the way.

It’s essential that I remain both compassionate and truthful throughout the process, providing a safe space for patients to explore their experiences, challenges, and strengths. By fostering this trusting and open relationship, we can navigate the healing journey together, building resilience and promoting meaningful growth.

In essence, therapy is a shared path where both therapist and patient contribute to the progress and success of recovery.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, patients can expect a compassionate and supportive space to begin exploring themselves—like peeling back the layers of an onion, one at a time. Some layers may bring up difficult emotions or tears, while others may reveal sources of hope, strength, and connection.

Together, we will start to uncover the experiences and feelings that shape your current challenges, with the goal of identifying practical strategies that can help you better manage your daily life. This session is about building trust, understanding your unique story, and setting the foundation for a healing journey tailored to your needs.

You can expect empathy, honesty, and a focus on moving forward at a pace that feels right for you.
