Great to meet you!

Are you thinking of making a change in your life, but feeling nervous, overwhelmed or not sure where to start? This is completely normal. Whether you are experiencing stress, anxiety, chronic pain, depression or PTSD, I am confident we can work toward change together. In my almost 8 years as a licensed psychologist, I have worked in many settings including inpatient psychiatry, with active duty military, trauma treatment clinics, Veterans Affairs clinics and chronic pain teams. I have a masters degree in psychology from the University of Colorado and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Montana. I also completed a post-doctoral residency in behavioral and cognitive therapies and the Department of Veterans Affairs in Tacoma, WA,

My approach to therapy

I have learned that change can be uncomfortable, yet this can be navigated and with discomfort often comes growth. I use evidence-based protocols to help you lead the highest quality and most meaningful life possible. These protocols include cognitive behavioral therapies for pain and PTSD, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, mindfulness, Pain Reprocessing Therapy and the Unified Protocol.

What you can expect from me

You know yourself better than I possibly could. Therefore, my goal is to partner with you to explore changes and tools that may help you be the person you want to be and do the things you would like to do. My style is warm, compassionate, nonjudgemental and humorous if possible. I am an optimist who believes you are able to lead the life you want to lead and may also benefit from support and tools as you work toward your goals.
