Great to meet you!

I help adults find relief from anxiety, depression, chronic stress, fear, and the effects of trauma. I also help people change the underlying patterns that contribute to those symptoms. I specialize in helping people navigate life transitions—including the transition into the second half of life, reconnecting with what matters most, and rediscovering purpose.

My approach to therapy

Many people I work with have become disconnected from themselves, from the people they love, or from the life they want to live. My approach combines thoughtful conversation with EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and other body-based approaches to therapy. Thinking alone doesn’t always get us where we want to be. Sometimes we know something with our head, but our nervous system is not on board. I integrate a number of approaches to help people reconnect their head with their heart, and feel more at home in their body. When we are more connected to ourselves, we can better connect with others and with life.

What you can expect from me

I want people to find the right therapist for them. My clients have described me as easy to talk to, insightful, and someone who finally understands what they are experiencing. I welcome a first session to see if we’re a good fit, both personally and clinically.
