Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m a licensed professional counselor and certified traumatologist. I have spent the last 15 years in the clinical world and the last 10 years in academia to help you learn what makes you tick! I believe a strong therapist-client connection is key to your success, and I strive to create a warm, professional, and collaborative space for growth.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is clinically casual, designed to feel more like a natural conversation and collaboration rather than a formal, structured process. I focus on identifying your needs in a relaxed and supportive environment. You might see a cat wander by, catch me in casual attire, or notice me sipping coffee during our sessions—because therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or overly formal. I may not be the best fit if you’re seeking a highly structured approach with rigid agendas and weekly homework.

What you can expect from our first session

Let’s begin with the end in mind: therapy with me is about three core experiences:

Do you need support?

Are you seeking information?

Do you want guidance?

I’m here to assist, educate, and provide what you need, but your input and engagement are essential for us to achieve your goals. This is a collaborative process—if something isn’t working or doesn’t feel right, let me know, and we’ll adjust together. I’m here to help, and together we can create the progress you’re looking for!
