Great to meet you!

Surviving life is existing. Thriving is living. I work with adults who are tired of simply pushing through and are ready to understand what is underneath their anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship patterns, or emotional overwhelm. After more than 20 years in practice, I’ve learned that healing is not about pretending the past didn’t happen. It’s about understanding your pain, integrating what you’ve experienced, and creating more freedom in how you live and relate to others.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a process over a product. We’ll explore the meaning you’ve made from your experiences, your body and emotional responses, and the historical messages that continue to influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors today. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate trauma-focused therapy, EMDR, somatic approaches, cognitive processing, narrative therapy, or other integrative techniques. The goal is to help you recognize the patterns that keep you stuck and build the confidence to respond differently.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity to slow down and talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re experiencing now, and what you want to be different. You don’t have to have everything figured out or be completely ready to change. You just have to be willing to begin. Together, we’ll start identifying what you’ve been carrying and where therapy can help you move from surviving toward thriving. If this sounds like the kind of support you’ve been looking for, book a free consultation to get started.
