Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over six years of healthcare experience, including psychiatric nursing and behavioral health. My background has allowed me to work with individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges across diverse settings.

My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can openly discuss their concerns, explore challenges, and work toward meaningful improvement in their overall well-being. I value collaboration and strive to empower clients to actively participate in their treatment decisions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe effective mental health care begins with understanding the whole person, not just a diagnosis. I take time to learn about each client's experiences, strengths, goals, and challenges in order to develop an individualized treatment plan.

When appropriate, treatment may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination of care with other healthcare providers. I encourage open communication and shared decision-making so that clients feel informed and confident about their treatment options.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to treatment. I will ask questions about your symptoms, medical and mental health history, current stressors, lifestyle, and treatment goals.

My goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of your experiences while creating a comfortable environment where you feel heard and supported. Together, we will discuss potential diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and next steps. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of your treatment options and a plan tailored to your individual needs.
