Great to meet you!

I worked for years in the education system, but after feeling a strong desire to tackle challenges beyond the classroom, I went into clinical social work and earned my MSW from Boston College. During this time, I sharpened my skills in listening, relationship-building, and advocacy. I have worked in various settings, including schools, health centers, and college campuses. Over the years, I’ve supported clients with a wide range of needs, from elementary school children to elderly adults, addressing issues such as psychosis, major depression, trauma, acute stress, and adjustment disorders.

I am passionate about working with the Asian/Asian American community in Boston. My position and racial identity give me a unique opportunity to help bridge the gap in access to quality mental health care. I have significant experience working with young adults and youth in both public education and therapeutic settings. My areas of expertise include mood-related and anxiety disorders, trauma, life transitions, familial conflict, and substance use issues

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in the narrative worldview. I believe understanding your relationship with life’s challenges is key to moving forward. Whether it’s depression keeping you stuck, anxiety eroding confidence, or shame disrupting relationships, I help you explore their impact. These struggles are often shaped by societal pressures - success, milestones, or who you “should” be - making it hard to live authentically. Let’s rewrite your story together.

What you can expect from me

I take a collaborative, open, and transparent approach to therapy. While grounded in narrative therapy, I also integrate CBT and DBT techniques to support your growth. My experience spans depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, life transitions, and relationship conflict. Together, we’ll explore your challenges and work toward meaningful change.

At the heart of my practice is a focus on what feels "right" for you. My goal is for you to feel empowered in the process and to be at the center of your healing journey. If you’re feeling disconnected from what feels "right" in your life, we’ll work together to help you find your way back to it.
