Great to meet you!
I worked for years in the education system, but after feeling a strong desire to tackle challenges beyond the classroom, I went into clinical social work and earned my MSW from Boston College. During this time, I sharpened my skills in listening, relationship-building, and advocacy. I have worked in various settings, including schools, health centers, and college campuses. Over the years, I’ve supported clients with a wide range of needs, from elementary school children to elderly adults, addressing issues such as psychosis, major depression, trauma, acute stress, and adjustment disorders.
I am passionate about working with the Asian/Asian American community in Boston. My position and racial identity give me a unique opportunity to help bridge the gap in access to quality mental health care. I have significant experience working with young adults and youth in both public education and therapeutic settings. My areas of expertise include mood-related and anxiety disorders, trauma, life transitions, familial conflict, and substance use issues
