Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and art therapist who works with people navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity exploration, emotional highs and lows, and complicated relationships with alcohol or drugs.

My background in art therapy means there is always another way in when words feel like too much. Creative approaches are optional, but available for those who want them.

Outside of the office, I crochet, travel, go to concerts, and practice flow arts. That curiosity and creativity carries into how I work with clients.

My approach to therapy

My goal is simple: to help you feel safe, heard, and supported, wherever you’re starting from.

I believe therapy should fit your real life. That means we’ll work on practical tools you can actually use when things feel overwhelming, while also taking time to understand what’s underneath, the patterns, relationships, and experiences that shape how you feel and respond.

Depending on what you need, we might talk through your thoughts and emotions, explore your past, use creative expression like drawing or art, or just start with whatever feels most pressing for you right now.

I’ll never push you faster than you’re ready to go. And I’ll never judge you for what you bring into the room. At the same time, I’ll be honest with you and gently encourage you when I think it can help you grow.

Whether you’re feeling stuck or just ready to better understand yourself, you don’t have to have it all figured out to reach out. You just have to show up, and we’ll take it from there.

What you can expect from me

The first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in and how you’ve been feeling. It’s not an interview or a checklist, just a conversation at your pace.

We’ll talk about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy and start thinking about what to focus on, but there’s no pressure to have it all figured out.

Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling like you have a sense of whether this feels like a safe place for you. You don’t have to share everything at once, and it’s okay to take your time.
