Great to meet you!

I’m a Ph.D.-level Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience and specialized APA-approved training and helping individuals, adolescents, couples, and families strengthen resilience and navigate life’s challenges.

My expertise spans trauma-informed care, culturally responsive approaches, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and executive coaching. I work with high achievers, athletes, entrepreneurs, couples, families, and professionals facing transitions such as marriage, parenting, career shifts, acculturation issues, and work-life balance.

My approach blends evidence-based psychology with practical, holistic strategies that reduce stress, improve relationships, and create meaningful, lasting growth in both personal and professional life.

As a professional, wife, and mom of two young adults (plus two dogs) with aging parents, I have personally navigated 17 moves across 26+ years of marriage-experiences that give me a deep understanding of the pressures and transitions my clients face.

My approach to therapy

I use a solution-focused, supportive, culturally responsive, personalized approach that draws from proven methods to help clients improve their resilient coping strategies, confidence, relationships and create lasting change. Depending on your needs, we may use tools from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT (mindfulness, breath work), family systems work, personality and attachment styles.

I also offer support for couples and parents, including premarital counseling and parenting guidance. My focus is on helping you reduce anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress while improving relationships, building resilience, and finding balance in your personal and professional life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, collaborative conversation focused on understanding your unique story, goals, and challenges. I’ll ask questions to get a clear picture of your experience and expectations from therapy, along with your background, strengths, and what brought you to therapy.

Together, we’ll begin identifying priorities-whether that’s reducing stress, improving relationships, navigating transitions, or enhancing personal and professional performance.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. You’ll leave the first session with greater clarity, an initial framework for moving forward, and a sense of how we can work together to create lasting growth and fulfillment.
