Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with experience in behavioral health, residential, and community-based settings. My work is rooted in a relational, intuitive approach, with a strong focus on the connection between mind and body. I care a lot about helping people reconnect, with themselves, their bodies, and the world around them. Outside of therapy, I’m deeply drawn to nature and have led outdoor programs for adolescents around the world, which continues to shape how I show up in this work. I aim to be authentic, present, and genuinely curious with the people I work with.

My approach to therapy

I tend to think of therapy as a place to slow down and get curious about what’s actually going on for you, not just on the surface but underneath it. We’ll pay attention to patterns, emotions, and what your body might be holding, not just what’s in your thoughts. I’m less focused on having a strict structure and more interested in what feels helpful and real for you in the moment. Sometimes we’ll talk things through, other times we might slow down and just notice what’s coming up. I’ll check in, gently challenge you when it’s helpful, or offer things to try outside of session if that feels right. We’ll keep adjusting based on what actually works for you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really just about getting to know each other and easing into the process. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’re hoping for, and anything that feels important to share, without any pressure to have it all figured out. I’m especially interested in understanding your “why” and how you make sense of your own story, in your own words. I’ll ask questions to get to know you better, and we’ll also talk about what you want from me as your therapist. I try to keep things relaxed and conversational so it feels easier to open up at your own pace. My hope is that you leave feeling heard and a little more comfortable with what comes next.
