Great to meet you!

I’m Blake, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a deep passion for mental health therapy. My journey has taken me through various settings, including private practice, drug rehabilitation centers, and therapy intensives, where I’ve gained a wide range of experience.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, diving into a good book, and indulging in my nerdy interests. I also have a therapy dog named Blue, who joins me in sessions, bringing an extra layer of warmth and companionship. I’m dedicated to creating a supportive environment as we navigate challenges together and work towards personal growth.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in grief counseling, couples therapy using Gottman methodology, and supporting individuals with autism and neurodiversity. As an LGBTQ+ ally and member of the community, I am committed to providing a safe and affirming space for all clients. I love incorporating creativity into my practice, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. My primary modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

What you can expect from me

What I hope clients take away from sessions is a wider perspective on life and struggle that empowers them to live a life guided by their own values.
