I specialize in working with those dealing with depression, anxiety, confidence-building, and women's issues. I believe that mental health and physical health are strongly connected and often encourage time outdoors, exercise, and setting healthy boundaries.
I like to laugh in session and also can appreciate a good cry. Collaborating in sessions is important to me and I encourage you to simply come as you are.
I am passionate about working with individuals to build self-esteem, challenge negative thoughts, and enhance relationships with others and with oneself. I utilize a holistic approach and incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, solution-focused therapy, as well as others.
During the first session, I want to get to know you and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. I also want to allow time for any questions or fears that you may have to be answered and calmed. My hope is that you leave feeling safe and a little lighter than you came into the session.
