Great to meet you!

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by both my professional background in medical social work and my personal experiences navigating autoimmune conditions connected to trauma. These experiences deepened my understanding of how closely mental, emotional, and physical health are intertwined and inspired my passion for holistic healing.

I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan and specialize in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, grief and loss, caregiver stress, interpersonal challenges, and difficulties with self-love and identity. I have training in EMDR, somatic and body-based approaches, mindfulness practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal-informed care, and person-centered therapy. I believe healing happens best in a nonjudgmental and collaborative space where clients feel safe to explore what’s no longer serving them and move toward meaningful change. If you’re a dog person, you may also meet Luna, my intuitive cattle dog mix, who occasionally joins sessions to offer calm companionship and therapeutic support.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe symptoms often develop as adaptive responses to difficult experiences, and together we work to understand those patterns with curiosity rather than judgment.

I integrate mind-body approaches such as EMDR, somatic therapy, mindfulness, Polyvagal-informed techniques, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and person-centered therapy to support healing on both emotional and physical levels. I tailor therapy to each individual’s unique needs, helping clients build self-awareness, emotional regulation, self-compassion, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of safety within themselves. My goal is to help clients move beyond survival mode and toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can share at their own pace. During the first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring your goals, and talking through any questions or concerns you may have about the process.

I view the therapeutic relationship as an important part of healing, so our initial sessions are also an opportunity to get to know one another and build rapport. My approach is collaborative and gentle, and I aim to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered from the very beginning.

I also offer a free 15-minute phone or telehealth consultation before scheduling to help clients decide whether they feel comfortable moving forward.
