Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist based in California. I received my Masters from San Diego State University and my Doctorate from California School of Professional Psychology. For over 20 years I have been working with women and men that have been victims of abusive relationships in childhood and their adult life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe safety, respect, and power balance are basic needs of a healthy relationships. My therapy approach is to collaborately decide what is needed from healing from past relationship wounds and to support my clients through redifining identities and self-worth to be able to establish relationships that will support growth and happier lives.

What you can expect from our first session

In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introduction. If you have been to therapy before, we will identify those things you enjoyed and the ones that were useful. If you have not been to therapy before, I will share the overall goal of psychotherapy. Then we will dive into your expectations, goals, needs, and wants from a therapeutic experience. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in our follow up sessions and ensure you receive the quality of service you deserve.
