Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Lita. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. I earned my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University and have over five years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. In addition to my private practice, I work as a clinician in an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) affiliated with a major metropolitan hospital, where I support employees through both personal and work-related challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques while incorporating other evidence-based techniques based on your individual needs and goals. I believe therapy is most effective when we work together to better understand what's getting in the way, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools you can use in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with anxiety, navigating a difficult transition, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I'm here to help. My goal is to help you feel more confident, resilient, and equipped to handle life's challenges—both inside and outside the therapy room.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, yoga, Pilates, and traveling. Staying active and exploring new places helps me stay grounded, and I believe caring for our mental and physical well-being often goes hand in hand.

Best of luck on your journey and feel free to reach out!
