Great to meet you!

I help adults in Mississippi who are feeling overwhelmed by depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, addiction, low self-esteem, or major life changes. If you’re used to taking care of everyone else and are finally wondering, “What about me?”, you’re in the right place. Therapy with me is a nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, feel heard, and start making sense of what you’re going through so life doesn’t feel so heavy.

My approach to therapy

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of experience in the mental health field, working mainly with adults ages 18–80. I use a person-centered approach, CBT, and motivational interviewing to help you understand patterns, build coping skills, and move toward the life you want. In our first session, we’ll review confidentiality and expectations, then I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to be calm, honest, and genuinely interested in your story. We’ll set goals together and check in regularly about what is and isn’t working so therapy feels useful and tailored to you. If you’re feeling unsure but curious about whether counseling could help, I’d be honored to meet with you and explore that together.
