Great to meet you!

I have spent nearly 18 years working as a forensic social worker and am ready to use my skills to support and give back to the community. I received my MSW from Binghamton University in 2007 with the goal of working privately someday. Someday is now! I have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety and stress tolerance. I have worked within a maximum security prison and know that burn out among staff is very real and feel I can bring that experience to the table for the right clients.

My approach to therapy

I use my experience, with a genuine approach and sense of humor, to help others talk through presenting issues. I will challenge your thinking and work with you to reframe issues that may have you "stuck".

What you can expect from me

My hope is that those who see me will walk away from each interaction feeling heard, but slightly challenged, by honest conversation.
