Great to meet you!

Constantly worrying about things outside of your control or pouring your energy into rescuing and enabling others can leave you feeling completely depleted. This often happens when you are deeply invested in someone else's battles, gradually losing yourself in the process.

I've had over 20 years experience in helping people heal from co-dependency, particularly from those with narcissistic behaviors. I also work with those who are on the Autism Spectrum and facilitate EMDR for those who have experienced trauma.

Over the past two decades, my journey has taken me into schools, homes, and private clinical spaces, giving me a deeply grounded view of the diverse struggles families face. A major component of my work involves empowering parents, helping them decode a child's behavioral frustrations and directly advocating for their needs in complex spaces like school IEP meetings.

I consider it an absolute privilege to watch my clients shift from a state of constant survival to a place of genuine self-compassion and balance. When I am away from my practice, I focus on cultivating my own emotional wellness and creative outlets, which keeps me fully present and energized to stand as your dedicated ally.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is highly personalized, conversational, and rooted in evidence-based care. Authenticity is one of my values and I apply it, whether I am facilitating EMDR therapy for trauma, working with those with neurodivergent traits (e.g., ADHD, Autism) or helping a parent and teen work on family communication skills. I look at each individual through a holistic lens, ensuring that we look at your whole experience—integrating psychodynamic, somatic, strength-based, and creative methods like art and play therapy as needed to help you understand and shift unhelpful emotional patterns.

We will focus on the present "here and now," helping you develop a practical toolkit to quiet anxiety, panic, and stress in real-time. Whether you are dealing with a recent life transition or navigating long-standing generational patterns, my style is designed to gently challenge the obstacles that are keeping you stuck. Clients should expect to feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported as we work hand-in-hand to build a healthier relationship with yourself and the world around you.

What you can expect from me

Our first meeting is designed to give you a soft place to land, far away from the pressures and chaotic demands of daily life. What you can expect from me in the first session, you can expect me to hold space for you, listen without judging and ask you about specifics of your story. This is so that I can get a complete picture and help you "connect the dots," using my intuition, clinical expertise and as an objective third party. You should feel some relief quite quickly, as I help with groundling techniques and normalizing anxious thoughts. I also help with resources when needed, between sessions, in order for you to feel supported.

Because I believe therapy should feel completely non-threatening, we will move through your story at a pace that is dictated entirely by you. This open and gentle dialogue ensures that our path forward is entirely shaped by what matters most to your unique journey. You can expect to leave this first meeting with a clearer vision of how we are going to navigate your path to healing together.
