Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist who works primarily with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship patterns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware people who feel stuck in cycles they don’t fully understand—or can’t seem to break on their own.

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and practical. I help clients understand why they react the way they do and work together to build tools that support real-life change. Therapy with me is not just about talking—it’s about gaining insight, developing skills, and applying them outside of sessions.

I believe therapy should feel supportive but honest. I will meet you with compassion and curiosity, while also gently challenging patterns that keep you stuck. Sessions are structured but flexible, and we move at a pace that feels safe and sustainable for you.

Clients often share that I’m direct, validating, and easy to talk to, and that I help them make sense of complex emotions without judgment. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life—rather than ruled by anxiety, mood shifts, or past experiences.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a space to slow things down and make sense of reactions that often feel automatic or overwhelming. Much of our work focuses on increasing awareness of emotional and relational patterns, especially those that developed as ways to cope or stay safe earlier in life.

Rather than trying to “fix” or eliminate emotions, I help clients learn how to understand, tolerate, and respond to them more effectively. We pay attention to what shows up in real time—thoughts, body responses, urges, and behaviors—and practice new ways of responding that feel more aligned with your values and goals.

I take an active role in sessions by asking thoughtful questions, offering reflections, and providing structure when it’s helpful. Therapy is collaborative, and we adjust the pace and focus based on what feels most supportive and useful for you at each stage of the process.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, what you’d like help with, and any relevant background that feels important to share. There’s no pressure to tell your entire story or have everything figured out right away.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your concerns, current stressors, and goals, while also making sure the session feels comfortable and manageable. We’ll discuss how therapy works, what to expect moving forward, and address any questions or concerns you may have.

By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and clearer about next steps. Some clients leave with increased insight, others with practical tools, and many with a sense of relief from simply having a space to talk things through. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
