I believe strength resides in all of us. I can and will be at times very blunt and to the point, but I do know that this is your life being discussed not mine. I have an inclusive feminist background and am comfortable working with all genders. I believe that laughter is the best medicine and that everyone is capable of living the best life possible.

I live in a multi dog/cat/parrot household and odds are good you will not just hear them but may occasionally see them. No worries they don’t judge

I love narrative therapy, we all have stories of our lives and so do those around us. This is how we not only view ourselves but how we view the world around us. In therapy we learn to tell a different story about ourselves one that is not as harsh, filled with more self love and caring. One that we can see where we can weave a softer ending.

EMDR to help reprogram the brain‘s responses to stress for trauma processing. I am currently training in Internal Family Systems

I am not a homework kind of therapist ...... until I am. so if you like homework and handouts let me know and I will do my best to give you high quality. If you like books then I have plenty to refer you to. Other than that I am available on the message app and try to get back as soon as I can.

This is therapy and its hard work, of which you are doing the heavy lifting so do what you need to do. Address your issues, use your coping skills, engage in self care and prepare for the next session.
