Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Bonnie. I’ve been in healthcare for over 30 years and have spent more than a decade practicing as a Nurse Practitioner. I’m dual board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with a background that includes seven years in neurology before transitioning fully into psychiatry. That combination allows me to approach mental health with a strong understanding of how the brain and body work together.
I work with teens (14+) and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and life transitions. ADHD makes up a significant part of my practice, and I especially enjoy helping high-capacity individuals who feel overwhelmed, scattered, or stuck despite knowing they’re capable of more.
My style is collaborative, direct, and grounded. I combine thoughtful medication management with supportive therapy during our visits because I believe treatment works best when you understand what’s happening in your brain—not just what medication you’re taking. I don’t rush appointments, and I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care.
Over the years, I’ve learned that most people aren’t “broken” — they’re overwhelmed, exhausted, or carrying more than they should have had to carry alone. My goal is to provide a calm, respectful space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with clarity and stability.
If you’re looking for a provider with deep experience, practical guidance, and a compassionate but honest approach, I would be honored to work with you.
