I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I earned my Master's degree in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in Trauma and Crisis Intervention. I am a bilingual therapist providing therapy in both English and Polish. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse cultural and clinical backgrounds.
I use an integrative and individualized approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed interventions, Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and trauma-informed care.
During our first session, I will take time to understand what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and understood.
Together, we will identify the challenges you would like to address and begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your needs. I believe therapy should be collaborative, and I will work with you to build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and support meaningful change.
