Great to meet you!

I’ve worked in various roles in the mental health field since 1991 and have been a practicing clinician since 2012. My approach is genuine and authentic, warm and welcoming. I hope to help others appreciate what is sometimes the absurdity and incongruity of life's situations. It’s good to laugh, to have joy, appreciate what is better. Headway is secondary employment, and during the day I work for a county mental health plan delivering complex interventions for youth, families, and adults. On this platform I offer time in the evenings.

My approach to therapy

Building trust and rapport is a gateway to everything that comes later, which can include irreverence, sarcasm, and I hope laughter. Let's start with the basics and see where things lead. Expect some questions and gentle exploration.

What you can expect from me

I would say I am strength based, solution oriented, authentic and genuine, and humorous. Laughter is such good medicine. What you can expect? Laughter I hope.
