Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) specializing in supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and our allies through gender and sexual identity exploration, all stages of gender transition, and the substance use recovery process. I also help clients navigate anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, complex PTSD trauma, and other life challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and empowering, grounded in multicultural counseling and social justice education, and drawing from evidence-based methods including CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and Solution-Focused and Narrative Therapy.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to focus on what matters most to them. Rather than spending the entire appointment on paperwork and background questions, I begin by asking, “What would you like to talk about today?”

This approach allows clients to use the time to share whatever feels most important or pressing—especially the concerns that may have taken weeks or months to bring into therapy. Many clients find that simply having space to openly talk through what is on their mind can feel relieving and grounding. From there, we can begin to clarify goals and shape our work together in a way that feels meaningful and collaborative.
