Great to meet you!

Outside the therapy room, you'll usually find me at the gym, watching football, horseback riding, or near the ocean. I've traveled to more than 20 countries, and being out in nature is where I feel most grounded. I bring that same energy into my work: warm, direct, and real. I don't do stiff or clinical. I'm here to listen, ask honest questions, and help you sort through what's weighing on you. Whatever you bring in, you'll be met without judgment.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in trauma, PTSD, OCD, men's issues, and questions of identity. My work draws on CBT, Trauma Focused CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, along with motivational interviewing and family-based approaches when that fits. I also use art therapy for the things that are hard to put into words. I'll tailor the approach to you rather than the other way around, and I'll be straightforward with you about what I'm noticing and why. Therapy should give you practical tools you can actually use between sessions.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly about getting to know each other. You'll tell me what brought you in and a bit about your life and history, and I'll ask questions to understand the full picture. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to. By the end, we'll talk through what you want to get out of therapy and map out where we'll start.
