Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I am a warm, patient, and straightforward therapist who genuinely cares about helping children, teens, and adults feel understood and supported. I specialize in working with ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, school stress, and family dynamics.

My style is calm, grounding, and practical—I focus on helping you build real tools you can use immediately, whether you’re working through big emotions, behavior patterns, communication challenges, or life transitions.

I’m also a huge believer in creating a relaxed, comfortable environment. Many of my clients appreciate my down-to-earth personality, my therapy dog, and the kid-friendly, family-oriented culture of our practice.

Most importantly, clients should know that I meet them exactly where they are. There is no judgment here—just support, understanding, and a therapist who is fully in your corner.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and solution-focused. I use a mix of evidence-based interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral strategies, strengths-based work, and personalized tools for ADHD and emotional regulation.

For kids and teens, I incorporate structure, consistency, and skill-building in a way that feels engaging—not overwhelming. For adults, I focus on helping you identify unhelpful patterns, develop healthier coping skills, and gain clarity and confidence.

I also believe in involving parents when needed, especially when working with children who struggle with behavior, transitions, or big emotions. My role is to help the whole family move toward calmer routines, better communication, and long-term success.

Above all, I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a relaxed, conversational experience—not an interrogation or a checklist of questions. I’ll spend time getting to know you, understanding what brought you in, and exploring what you’d like to change or improve.

For children and teens, we’ll go at their pace. I’ll talk with the parent/caregiver as needed and help create initial goals that make sense for the family. For adults, I focus on immediate concerns, past patterns, and what you hope to gain from therapy.

We’ll review your history, discuss any symptoms or challenges you’re facing, and begin outlining a plan for future sessions. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what our work together will look like—and often with a few practical tools to start using right away.

Most clients say they feel comfortable, supported, and understood by the end of the first session.

Also, my therapy dog, Ghost, will join us!
