Great to meet you!

I believe that mental health is important for everyone and as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I try to meet my clients where they are and help them build upon their strengths. I have over 20 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. Depression, Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, PTSD and ADHD are some of the areas that I have experience in. I also enjoy working with some of the specific issues that first responders, veterans and clergy are faced with.

My approach to therapy

I believe that developing a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients is key to their growth and success. I do this by having a relaxed approach to therapy while allowing the client to develop trust and confidence. I try to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere during my sessions that allows my clients to share and talk about the topics and issues that are important to them.

What you can expect from me

During a typical session, clients can expect to talk about what is currently going on in their lives as well as address the longer term goals we are working on together. I also try to set up short term goals and give my clients strategies they can use.
