Great to meet you!

If you’ve felt stuck in the same cycles, struggled to connect with yourself or others, or found it hard to experience real joy and peace, you’re not alone - and you don’t have to stay there. As a fully licensed Marriage & Family therapist I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families in a variety of settings, including family and youth services, intensive in-home therapy, schools, and outpatient care. Over the years, I've worked with many different ages & backgrounds; but I I especially enjoy working with young adult women who are navigating anxiety, depression, questions about who they are and what they want, self-worth and self-esteem struggles, or healing from relational trauma. I also love working with Christian clients who want their faith to be part of their therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you understand yourself on a deeper level. As a systemic therapist, I believe that our relationships and experiences can shape the way we see ourselves, respond to challenges, and relate to others. I aim to help you look beyond the surface of your experience & understand what may be happening underneath it all. Together, we’ll explore the beliefs, patterns, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck and work toward creating meaningful, lasting change. I want therapy to be a space where you feel both supported and challenged - where you can be honest, grow at your own pace, and learn practical tools to use in your everyday life. I draw from several therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and experiential approaches. I tailor these approaches to you rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

What you can expect from me

I want your first session to feel comfortable & welcoming. It'll be a chance for us to get to know each other, begin understanding what brought you to therapy, & explore what you hope to get out of therapy. I’ll also ask questions about your background & experiences so I can better understand the bigger picture. Finding the right therapist is important, too. So I want you to have space to see whether we feel like a good fit. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the possibility of moving forward.
