Great to meet you!

Therapy should give you more than a place to talk. It should help you understand yourself better and make changes that actually carry into your everyday life. I work with clients navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm who want to better understand what’s keeping them stuck and develop practical ways to move forward.

My style is supportive, collaborative, and focused on helping you create change that fits your real life. Together, we’ll make sense of patterns that may be contributing to stress or overwhelm, strengthen your ability to manage difficult emotions, and develop strategies you can use outside of therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet. We can start with what’s happening right now and build from there.

My approach to therapy

I believe insight matters, but therapy becomes especially valuable when you can take what you discover in session and use it in your everyday life. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and a strengths-based approach to help you understand your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships while identifying realistic opportunities for change.

I don’t expect you to fit into a predetermined version of therapy. We’ll pay attention to what’s working, what’s getting in your way, and what matters most to you. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, ADHD, depression, family stress, relationships, or emotional regulation, our work will be collaborative, encouraging, and grounded in goals that feel meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to understand what brought you to therapy and for you to get a sense of whether I’m the right therapist for you. We’ll talk about what’s been difficult, what you’d like to change, and what you hope life could look like if therapy is successful.

You can expect warmth, honesty, encouragement, and practical support from me. I’ll help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck while also noticing the strengths you’re already bringing to the process. My goal is for you to leave therapy with greater clarity, useful tools, and more confidence in your ability to handle what comes next.
