Great to meet you!

I am a Psychodynamic therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 18 years of experience in offering a deep, insight-oriented approach to healing. My practice is built on the belief that understanding our past is the key to transforming our future. I specialize in helping individuals uncover the underlying patterns and unconscious processes that shape their current lives.

My therapy style is both empathetic and analytical, tailored specifically to your unique history. Together, we will explore the "why" behind your experiences, fostering profound self-awareness and lasting emotional growth in a secure, supportive space. Whether you are navigating trauma, relationship issues, or major life transitions, I am here to help you move toward long-term resolution and authenticity.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in Psychodynamic therapy, but I integrate various evidence-based modalities including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and Trauma-Focused care to meet the specific needs of each client. I have a particular clinical focus on trauma, grief, and life transitions, serving adults, adolescents, and preteens.

As a clinician and a graduate of CSU Chico (2006), I bring a culturally sensitive and humanistic lens to my work. My goal is to connect the systems between your past and your present, helping you gain not just coping skills, but the internal tools necessary to navigate life’s complexities with renewed confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my primary goal is to create a stable, non-judgmental environment where you feel safe to share your story. We will begin by discussing what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. This is an exploratory space where we will start to identify the themes in your life and determine how we can best work together.

You can expect a balance of warmth and professional insight. We will touch on your history and current challenges to build a roadmap for our work together. You’ll leave the session with a clearer sense of how our collaboration will help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and improved relational patterns.
