Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a place where you can be yourself and talk openly without fear of judgment. My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel heard and understood while also helping you move toward meaningful change.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and substance use concerns. I understand that our past experiences can shape how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. Together, we can explore those patterns, identify what may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to help you move forward.

My approach is open-minded, compassionate, and solution-focused. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, offer a different perspective when needed, and help you recognize your strengths. Therapy isn't about having everything figured out it's about having a safe place to begin.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, open-minded, and collaborative. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel comfortable enough to be honest about what you're experiencing without fear of judgment. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused techniques, while tailoring treatment to your individual needs.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We will talk about what you are currently experiencing, your past experiences and history, and how those experiences may be impacting you today. We will also explore your strengths, relationships, supports, and what you hope to gain from counseling. You are encouraged to share at your own pace—there is no expectation that you tell your entire story in the first session. I will ask questions to help me better understand you and your needs, and together we will begin identifying goals and areas you would like to work on. Most importantly, I want you to leave the first session feeling heard, respected, and comfortable moving forward.
