Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely safe, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can openly process your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences without feeling rushed or criticized. I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so I approach each client with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their unique story and lived experience.

My style is warm, relational, and conversational while still grounded in evidence-based practices. I work collaboratively with clients to help them better understand emotional patterns, increase self-awareness, strengthen communication, and develop practical tools they can use outside of sessions. I value creating a therapeutic relationship that feels authentic and empowering, where clients can feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, and moving at a pace that feels manageable for them.

I work with individuals navigating stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, emotional overwhelm, and patterns that may leave them feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. Together, we focus on creating meaningful and sustainable change while also making space for reflection, healing, and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, insight-oriented, and nonjudgmental. I believe healing happens through both self-understanding and practical change, so I aim to balance emotional exploration with tools and strategies that support everyday life. I tailor therapy to each individual’s needs, recognizing that every person brings different experiences, strengths, and goals into the therapeutic process.

I integrate evidence-based practices with a relational and conversational approach, helping clients explore how past experiences, emotional patterns, relationships, and current stressors may be impacting their well-being. At the same time, I support clients in developing healthier coping skills, improving emotional regulation, strengthening boundaries, and building greater confidence in themselves and their decision-making.

I strive to create an environment where clients feel emotionally safe enough to process difficult experiences honestly while also feeling supported in taking meaningful steps toward growth and change. Therapy with me is not about judgment or perfection. It is about building awareness, developing tools, and helping you feel more connected to yourself and your life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a comfortable and supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a space where you feel welcomed, heard, and able to share at your own pace. There is no expectation to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

During our first session, we will talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges or stressors you may currently be experiencing, and what you hope to gain from the process. We may also explore important background information, including relationships, life experiences, emotional patterns, and any previous experiences with therapy or mental health support. This conversation helps me better understand your needs while also giving you the opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of whether we feel like a good fit.

You can expect our conversation to feel collaborative, compassionate, and grounded. My approach is not to pressure or overwhelm you, but to meet you where you are and help you feel supported from the very beginning. Together, we will begin identifying goals for therapy and creating a path forward that feels realistic, meaningful, and aligned with the kind of growth and healing you are seeking.
