Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with specialized training in marriage, couples, and family counseling. I earned my Master of Education in Counseling Development: Marriage Couples, & Family Counseling from Lamar University. I am also a graduate of Liberty University's Human Services Counseling Master of Art program with a specialization in marriage and family.

I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families create healthier relationships through improved communication, accountability, and honesty. I works with both adults and children and have experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, and relational challenges. I provide a supportive space for unconventional couples, ensuring that all relationship dynamics are met with respect, understanding, and nonjudgment.

Clients can expect a therapist who is genuine, down-to-earth, and committed to helping them feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their healing process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, goal-oriented change. I am also trained in EMDR and hypnotherapy.

I believe therapy should be effective, approachable and engaging. I sometime incorporate humor in sessions when appropriate to help ease tension and create a comfortable, authentic environment. My goal is to help clients feel safe to be honest, challenged to grow, and supported to make lasting changes.

What you can expect from me

My approach to therapy is centered on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being open and honest. I strive to create a space that is warm and allows growth with accountability.

In our work together, I focus on helping clients achieve clear, meaningful outcomes. These may include improving communication, increasing emotional awareness, reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, and developing healthier coping strategies. When working with couples and families, I place an emphasis on rebuilding trust, establishing boundaries, and creating more effective and respectful ways of interacting.

I take a collaborative, goal-oriented approach to therapy. Together, we will identify realistic goals and develop practical tools that can be applied outside of sessions. My goal is for clients to not only gain insight, but to leave therapy with the skills and confidence needed to create lasting change in their daily lives and relationships.
