Great to meet you!

I have over years of counseling experience, specializing in grief, bereavement, trauma, and PTSD. My journey in this field has given me a deep understanding of the complexities involved in processing loss and trauma. I am passionate about providing compassionate support to individuals navigating their unique experiences, and I approach each client with empathy and respect.

I believe in creating a safe space where you can share your thoughts and feelings openly. My goal is to empower you to explore your emotions, gain insights, and develop coping strategies tailored to your needs. Together, we can work through the challenges you face and support your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is an integrative blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), positive psychology, mindfulness, and a person-centered approach. This unique combination allows me to tailor my techniques to meet the individual needs of each client, fostering a supportive and empathetic environment.

Techniques and Strengths:

1. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): I utilize CBT techniques to help clients identify and reframe negative thought patterns that contribute to their emotional distress. By teaching practical coping skills and promoting problem-solving strategies, I empower clients to create meaningful changes in their lives.

2. Positive Psychology: I focus on enhancing well-being and resilience through positive psychology. By encouraging clients to recognize and cultivate their strengths, I help them build a more optimistic outlook and greater fulfillment in various aspects of their lives.

3. Mindfulness: Incorporating mindfulness practices enables clients to develop greater self-awareness and emotional regulation. I guide them in grounding techniques that promote present-moment awareness, reducing anxiety and enhancing their overall sense of calm.

4. Person-Centered Approach: My person-centered approach ensures that clients feel heard, valued, and respected. I prioritize building a genuine therapeutic relationship based on trust and collaboration, allowing for an open and honest exploration of thoughts and feelings.

By combining these techniques, my counseling practice fosters a holistic journey toward healing and personal growth, encouraging clients to achieve their goals while nurturing self-compassion and

resilience.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, my primary focus will be on building rapport and creating a safe, comfortable environment for you to share your thoughts and feelings. We will begin with a psychosocial assessment, which is a comprehensive process designed to gather important information about your background, experiences, and current challenges.

This assessment will help me better understand what you are going through and allow us to explore your needs and goals. By the end of the session, we will collaboratively discuss potential pathways for treatment and develop a thoughtful, personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique situation.

I encourage you to ask questions and share any concerns you may have, as open communication is key to our work together. I am here to support you on this journey, and I look forward to getting to know you!
