I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with nearly 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families facing behavioral challenges, family conflict, and the impact of trauma. I earned my Master of Social Work degree and Play Therapy certification from the University of South Florida and have worked in outpatient, in-home, residential, and medical settings.
I believe that meaningful growth begins with understanding each person's unique experiences, strengths, and needs. I take a compassionate, individualized approach to therapy, helping clients improve communication, develop healthy boundaries, strengthen relationships, and build effective coping skills. My goal is to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make positive changes. I believe that people are doing the best they can with the tools and experiences they have, and I work collaboratively with individuals and families to help them achieve lasting growth, resilience, and well-being.
During our first counseling session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, collaborative relationship. We’ll talk about your goals for counseling, your strengths, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. We’ll also discuss what approaches and strategies may work best for you and explore relevant background information to better understand your experiences and treatment needs. Most importantly, this is a space for you to feel heard, supported, and comfortable sharing at your own pace.
