Great to meet you!

As the child of a Vietnam Veteran with PTSD, I have experienced the long lasting effects of trauma and understand the impact on trauma survivors and their loved ones. I have a Master's in Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have experience working with Military Service Members and their Families, as well as adults and adolescents with psychiatric and addiction issues. I have a Clinical Military Counselor Certification (CMCC).

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a partnership between the therapist and client that allows for exploration, growth, and learning in a safe place to express your thoughts, beliefs and emotions. After 15 years in the mental health field, I have learned that everyone experiences difficult times at some point. It is my belief that we all need someone to help us navigate this life, and I am honored to be that someone for you.

What you can expect from me

Depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem issues, relationship/marriage problems, addiction issues, stress and life pressures are worked through using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and other therapeutic techniques that best fit each individual and their goals in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment. Sometimes it can feel like you are alone in the darkness. I will walk with you in the darkness until you find the light again.
