Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and hold a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree with over 8 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including psychiatric hospitals, primary care settings, and outpatient mental health care, which has allowed me to support individuals with a wide range of concerns and life experiences.

I work with adolescents, adults, military members, veterans, spouses, and mothers navigating different stages of life and emotional challenges. Some of my primary treatment areas include anxiety, depression, stress management, life transitions, relationship concerns, maternal mental health, self-esteem, burnout, and trauma-related challenges. I also have experience supporting teens and individuals coping with military-related stressors, adjustment difficulties, and the emotional impact of major life changes.

My therapy style is warm, supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe clients deserve a space where they feel safe, heard, and comfortable being themselves. I blend insight-oriented therapy with evidence-based approaches to help clients not only better understand patterns and experiences, but also develop practical coping skills they can use in daily life. I also believe humor and authenticity can be powerful parts of the healing process when appropriate.

I strive to create a therapeutic relationship that feels genuine and approachable while helping clients build confidence, resilience, and meaningful change in their lives!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and individualized to each client’s unique needs and goals. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I work to create a warm and authentic environment where clients can build insight, develop coping skills, and make meaningful changes at their own pace.

I blend insight-oriented therapy with evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, strengths-based therapy, and trauma-informed care. I help clients identify patterns that may be contributing to distress while also teaching practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

My style is compassionate, down-to-earth, and interactive. I value the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship and believe humor, when appropriate, can help foster connection and comfort during difficult conversations. I also focus on helping clients recognize their strengths, improve self-awareness, strengthen communication and boundaries, and build healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

It is important for my clients to take the lead in their therapy journey. I encourage them to guide the process while I support and cheer them on every step of the way! My goal is for clients to feel both empowered and supported. In our initial sessions, we will focus on understanding your current situation and how I can assist you in reaching your goals. Whether you need a guiding hand or a gentle push, I am here to help you reach your goals!
