Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed mental health counselor and addictions specialist focused on helping professionals and creatives in their mid-20s to 50s who are experiencing enormous stressors in their lives.

Stressors such as the pressure to achieve at work, relationship conflicts, and the constant fear of not being or doing enough, can easily turn into mental health conditions such as anxiety or depression. Or they can appear in the form of a chemical or behavioral addiction.

A bit about my approach to therapy

The first several sessions together are spent on getting to know you, your background, support network, and current struggles. My therapy approach is structured, so that your time is utilized well, and the sessions remain focused and goal oriented.

We’ll talk about and explore the past and present, and you will be guided through specific exercises and techniques designed to target identified issues.

What you can expect from our first session

Whether we use an approach, such as cognitive behavioral therapy or dialectical behavioral therapy, structured therapy will help you to recognize and modify negative thought patterns, develop coping strategies, and build essential skills for navigating life’s complexities.
