Hello, thank you for taking a little time to learn about me. I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Certified Addictions Professional (CAP) practicing in Central Florida. Provider of individual, marital and family counseling both virtually and in office. I have 26 years of counseling experience within educational and healthcare facilities as well as private practice. I mostly enjoy outdoor activities with my wife and our four children.
I practice Person Centered Therapy. The hallmark of this approach is unconditional positive regard for the client. It is not a client's past or beliefs that formulates an effective treatment plan, rather what the client wants for themselves now and for the future.
To welcome the counseling process, not to see therapy as a "no pain, no gain" endeavor. Appreciate for themselves the work they are doing. This leads to a true self-reflection formulated by trust between client and therapist.
