Great to meet you!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently a doctoral student in Counseling Education and Supervision at Oregon State University. For the past three years, I have worked in crisis services—first as an intern and now as a licensed counselor—and I have spent the last decade in various behavioral health roles.
My primary therapeutic approach is Solution-Focused, and I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build practical skills for real-life challenges. I specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ clients and the Latine community, with a particular focus on transgender individuals and first- and second-generation Latine clients. I also have experience helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, and adjustment-related concerns.
Outside the therapy room, I believe in practicing what I preach when it comes to self-care—whether that’s exploring hiking trails, playing co-op video games, or working on art/photography projects! Fun fact: becoming a therapist wasn’t my childhood dream... I originally wanted to be a Pokémon trainer!
