Great to meet you!

I work closely with individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with issues such as addiction, substance abuse, and other compulsive behaviors, as well as those facing challenges related to their mental health, including depression, anxiety, and trauma. In short, I work with anybody experiencing conflict and seeking support and expertise to facilitate and maintain positive changes in their lives.

I hold a Master of Social Work and am a Licensed Addiction Counselor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My approach to therapy is compassionate and non-judgmental, as I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to explore their feelings and experiences. I love being a part of people's change and growth, and I am dedicated to helping my clients find their path to healing and well-being. I am also a first responder that does work integrated with police and fire departments. I enjoy working with folks who also work in health care and/or first responder professions.

I specialize in a wide range of areas, including addiction, depression, anger management, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, family relationships, grief and bereavement, life transitions, OCD, intimate and romantic relationships, sex and intimacy issues, spirituality, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, and trauma. My goal is to provide tailored support that meets the unique needs of each client.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is strengths based and trauma informed. The work I do is often mindfulness-based and existential in nature. Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and others all may be integrated in our work.

What you can expect from me

We will create a treatment plan together which may consist of goals related to identifying triggers for substance use, anxiety, anger, sadness, etc. and learning/developing coping skills to manage them in healthier and more effective ways. This is a mere example and our work together will in no way be limited to such a goal/objective.

When you work with me, you can expect a collaborative and supportive environment where we work together to identify and address the challenges you're facing. I believe in the power of therapy to transform lives, and I am here to guide you through that process with empathy and understanding.

If you're ready to take the next step towards positive change, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to create the life you envision.
