Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Brandon Lipin, a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized graduate training in clinical psychopharmacology through my Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, with a focus on anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use concerns, trauma-related stress, and co-occurring mental health needs. My style is supportive, direct, and practical, with an emphasis on helping clients better understand themselves while building realistic tools for change. I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, understood, and actively involved in their own growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and evidence-based. I draw from CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based strategies, and psychopharmacology-informed care to help clients better understand their emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and patterns. I work especially well with anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use concerns, trauma-related stress, and co-occurring mental health needs. My style is warm, direct, and supportive, with a focus on helping clients build insight, improve coping skills, and make meaningful changes that fit their real lives.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment in which we begin by understanding what brought them to therapy and what they would like to change. I typically focus on learning about the client’s history, current stressors, strengths, symptoms, and goals. Together, we begin identifying patterns, priorities, and realistic next steps. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard and understood, with a clearer sense of direction for our work together.
