Great to meet you!

Hello! Thanks for checking out my profile, and congratulations on taking the first steps in trying to find the right therapist for you! Should you choose to work with me you'll learn plenty more about me, but to hit the highlights: I spent the first half of my career and vocational life working in non-profit management and fundraising before becoming a therapist. I'm divorced and have 50/50 custody with my co-parent of our two delightful children (11 & 13). I love nature, soccer, and cooking!

I work with couples and individuals 21+, and have a particular interest and passion in working with folks (whether individually or as a couple, friends, or members of a family) suffering from CPTSD, complicated grief, and significant attachment and developmental trauma.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is focused on relationships. As mammals, we're wired for connection, community, and belonging. Which makes these three things opportunities for deep fulfillment, satisfaction, and pleasure, while also often being the places of our deepest wounding. And relationship doesn't always have to be with other people, it could be to an idea, a dream, a vocation, an institution.

My approach to therapy centers the client's experiences and the stories they tell about those experiences. My clinical approach is informed most deeply by Somatic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Parts Work, and attachment theory. By utilizing these approaches, I seek to create therapeutic space for the mind, body, spirit, and unique energy of every single one of my clients.

What you can expect from me

I'm very informal and easy going as a person and therapist, so you can expect a casual conversation about your thoughts and opinions about therapy, why you are pursuing it at this point, and what goals and outcomes are most important to you! I lead with curiosity, compassion, and empowerment.
