Great to meet you!

I am currently the Clinical Director at Directions Counseling & Consulting and am taking new clients in Utah as well as via telehealth in Nevada and Arizona. Spanning twenty years of clinical experience, I have worked in various mental health practice and training spaces, including academics and private practice. A major focus of my work has been around coping with stress and its impact on relationships, quality of life, and career/life satisfaction. I am here to help you navigate the current stress you are experiencing in a safe and supportive manner.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I know how hard it can be to talk about life stresses and demands. My approach is tailored to focus on you discovering your freedom of expression as we work to identify your need to be seen and heard, and even just to vent. Setting goals and moving forward is a great place to start, so let's talk!

What you can expect from our first session

Stress can hide deep in the corner of our life and it affects daily functioning. First session: I want you to get a sense of who I am as I get to know a bit about you; where you are at currently and what your goals are for your the future. I look at this as an introductory life reset where we can track changes in your overall mental health and well-being while focusing on decreasing the negative effects of stress due to depression and anxiety. Eight to 12 sessions can provide great insight into what changes you want to make.
