Great to meet you!

Hello. I am a BIPOC clinician dedicated to helping people become better versions of themselves, whatever that means to them! I was trained at Virginia State University in clinical health psychology. My residency was with Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School. I have an extensive history working with troubled youth, trauma victims, and people of color. I specialize in psychological assessment.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is tailored to everyone I work with. In general, my background ranges from solution-focused, to psychodynamic in nature. I have also been influenced by cognitive-behavioral techniques and Internal Family Systems approaches.

What you can expect from me

My clients and I always check-in regarding where we are with the plan we've constructed together. We leave session with goals for the next week or two, plans to reach them, and look at potential barriers to completing them.
