Doctor of Nursing Practice and Board-Certified Family Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner working with children/adolescents and adults in the practice of psychiatry and addiction medicine with significant experience working with adults and children in the past including assisting children and youth in psychiatric crisis. Previous nursing experience of more than 25 years in various environments.
Patient centered approach with holistic treatment modalities to include herbal consultations and suggestions for alternative complimentary medicine if desired. Cognitive behavioral therapy, journaling, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy and suggestions provided if desired for self-help.
Patients will receive education regarding medications, therapy, diagnosis and evidenced based practice treatment modalities. It can be expected that a patient can make an informed decision in collaboration with myself as a provider as to the treatment options they desire to utilize.
